Gradhoc Smart, S.L., a technology company established in 2023 by a team of engineers with extensive experience in industrial refrigeration and air conditioning, has developed an ambitious Innovation Plan to enhance its adaptive software, Gradhoc, designed to facilitate the transition to Industry 5.0.
Gradhoc software integrates advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), digital twins, and artificial intelligence. These tools enable the optimization of energy efficiency, ensure food safety, and support predictive maintenance in refrigeration systems. The plan also includes targeted improvements for critical processes, such as predicting the optimal timing for freezer defrosting, delivering both environmental and operational benefits to companies adopting this solution.
The integration of Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) positions the company as a leader in tailoring its commercial offerings, providing precise and agile responses to the specific needs of each client.

The Gradhoc Innovation Plan is funded by the Innovapeme 2024 program of the Axencia Galega de Innovación and is structured around four key objectives:

- Improving the quotation process for industrial refrigeration companies.
- Advancing the monitoring and management of defrosting processes.
- Strengthening Gradhoc Smart’s cybersecurity processes.
