Launch of Activity: Thermal Optimization for Energy Efficiency and Defrosting in Industrial Cold Storage as Part of Gradhoc’s Innovation Plan
Gradhoc Smart has initiated a new innovation project focused on thermal optimization and enhancing the defrosting process in industrial cold storage systems. This initiative aims to integrate advanced knowledge of heat transfer and effective zoning into the Gradhoc software, with the objective of improving energy efficiency and optimizing the management of thermal loads in refrigeration systems.
In the first phase, a comprehensive analysis of the current functionality of the Gradhoc software will be conducted, focusing on identifying areas for improvement in energy efficiency and thermal management. Operational data from the existing system will be collected to evaluate its performance and explore opportunities for implementing new enhancements based on thermal optimization.
Subsequently, feedback sessions with key clients will be held to obtain practical evaluations of the proposed functionalities. This collaborative approach will ensure that the software enhancements align with operational needs, guaranteeing that the improvements are both effective and practical.
This initiative is part of the InnovaPeme 2024 Program, funded by the Axencia Galega de Innovación (GAIN).
