The installation was completed at a supermarket owned by a major food chain in Barcelona. The facility is equipped with a positive temperature refrigeration unit (MT) and three compressors.

The compressors, whose demand BEFORE (to the left of the red line) and AFTER optimization (to the right of the red line) can be seen in the following graph.
From the graph, we observe that before the optimizer (to the left of the red line), the compressors’ demand was at 80% of the total capacity, compared to 50% after implementation (to the right of the red line). This represents a reduction of nearly 40%.
On the other hand, the consumption measured by the power analyzers:
Before the optimizer (to the left of the red line), the average consumption was around 1,000 kWh, while after optimization (to the right of the red line), it decreased to an average of 650 kWh, representing a decrease of 35%, which could be even higher considering that in recent months, the decrease in consumption was even more pronounced.
In the graph, we can see the energy saving by temperature. We observe that we have achieved savings of 38% (at 27°C), although across the entire temperature range, the savings have been significant, above 20%.
In these linear regresion, we clearly see that as the temperature increases, the difference between the consumption before and after the optimizer becomes larger. Based on all the evidence, the implementation of our system resulted in significant energy savings, which are further accentuated at higher temperatures.
